A GRAND FINALE WITH GUNS'N'ROSES

Just a little after 8AM and the performance of our most famous DJ trio Nastić&Milićević&Milosavljević at the Dance Arena, 13th EXIT Festival came to a close. In four days, about 150000 people marched through the festival gates, who watched their favourite performers on about 20 stages, danced to the music at the Dance Arena, had fun at the Silent Disco, wore some of the most extravagant hairstyles, zip-lined and chilled at the chill zones. The last night was reserved for the two and a half hour performance by the legendary Guns N'Roses, as well as great Australian rockers, Wolmother, but also the Serbian Rock'n'Roll icons Partibrejkers.

The most memorable performances at the mt:s Dance Arena were held by Knife Party, Laurent Garnier LBS, the phenomenal Maceo Plex, while the ever-expected Art Department had to cancel their performance at the last moment because of their delayed flight. Jelen Fusion stage was crowned with the magic of the Scandinavian Indie act Little Dragon, but also the World Music collective - Buraka Som Sistema, while Explosive stage was shaking from the loud guitars D.R.I. brought all the way from the United States. An unforgettable night at Happynovisad also, with the great performance by Goldie feat SP:MC, in front of a dense crowd mass and the never exhausting energy!

After waiting for a whole day, six trucks filled with stage equipment and a completely redecorated Main Stage for their performance, Guns'n'Roses went out on the stage after a 45-minute delay, and played for full two and a half hours, which is one of the longest concerts in the history of EXIT Festival. The biggest fans waited in the front row from the opening of the festival, and waited until the end of the concert. Fronted by the legendary Axl, this band once again proved why they are considered Rock'n'Roll icons, significantly marking this edition of EXIT.

After the concert, Axl stayed in the backstage until the early morning for the "Garden Party“ where the members hung out with about 20 female fans. Guns N' Roses were guests in Novi Sad for a full two days, with a whole hotel floor for themselves, and Axl will also be remembered for drinking Serbian beer on which he insisted, and playing the piano in the hotel lounge, leaving many speechless.

We are hoping you enjoyed the festival, and that we will see you in a year at an even better, happier and the most positive EXIT 2013!
