Play @ Exit 2012 Competition
Exit festival’s “Play @ Exit“ competition, where acts from all around the world get the opportunity to perform at the festival, begins on Monday, April 30, and will last until May 21, 2012. As before, Exit will pave the way for all solo artists, bands and DJs who are given the chance to present their best work at one of the festival’s stages, and to potentially get recognized by managers, booking agents and press from all around the world.
All acts interested to perform can apply at Exitmusic.rs. Registering and filling out the application includes the application for the competition, and the activation of their own profile webpage at Exitmusic.rs.

Each year, best performers are chosen by Exit’s programme production team, with the assistance of media associates, and of course, the audience! Also, continuing the tradition, we are inviting you all to “like“ the performer they find the most interesting, because the performers with the most “likes“ will have a bigger chance to perform at the festival!
“Play @ Exit“ competition is held with a huge support from the online music platform - Soundcloud.com. By applying to the competition, bands and DJs will be able to link a playlist of their songs or a longer DJ set from Soundcloud.com. This step is not obligatory, and it serves as an additional promotional tool to all the bands and DJs applying. Our Soundcloud.com partners will promote the competition via their wide user network, so all the entrants are encouraged to use this opportunity. Last year, about 950 acts from all around the world applied to the competition! Bands that were chosen performed at the Exit Music Live stage, but also at some bigger stages, including Fusion and Explosive stage. The results of the upcoming contest will be posted on June 12, 2012. We are waiting for your applications!
