Ika is a band led by Ivana Smolović, a woman with many faces and one big talent. Whether as a vocalist for the Electro band Intruder, a star of the cover band Writers of Fiction, or a guest vocalist with numerous bands, Ivana definitely has one of the best voices at the domestic and regional scene. It was only a moment of time when she will use this talent to express herself completely.

Her affinity towards acoustic Folk music was introduced to us back in 2007, when her track Bubble appeared on a compilation album Jutro će promeniti sve (English: The Morning Will Change It All). Three years after that, we got the chance to hear her own album, Sweet Path of Gold and it was worth the wait! Sweet Path of Gold is not a record you can listen to anytime, because you can feel the butterflies flapping their wings at the same time when you have to dedicate your entire attention to the album. If you catch the right moment, it will last very long!
