A producer, photographer and a multi-instrumentalist from Detroit, Jimmy Edgar dropped out of fashion studies to concentrate on his music. His inspiration comes from his hometown, his demise, fashion and eclectic music scene. His first musical experiences date back to the age when he turned 10, when the first analog products which precede today’s Electro-Funk and sensual R’n’B appeared. After 3 albums released for Warp and 1K7 Records, Edgar moves to Hotflush where he releases his latest album Majenta, on May 7. The album already gained highest praises from NME and Resident Advisor.
