One of the biggest hip-hop stars of today, Wiz Khalifa will be performing on Sunday 10 July at Exit Festival’s Main Stage! Exit is welcoming Wiz Khalifa at the peak of his ever-rising popularity after heading most of this year’s charts with the “Furious 7” soundtrack “See You Again”. This way, he equalled Eminem’s record of being 12 weeks at the top of Billboard Hot 100. The same track also reached 1,2 billion viewers on YouTube, becoming the most viewed video of this year as well as one of three most viewed videos of all time! So far, Wiz Khalifa’s singles easily reached the throne of world’s hip-hop scene, adding up to three billion YouTube views, making him one of the most popular artists in the world. Also staggering are his collaborations with names such as Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Snoop Dogg, Miley Cirus, Maroon 5, Lily Allen, will.i.am, 50 Cent and numerous others. He has been nominated for ten Grammies, including this year’s most important one for Song of the Year. Known for his swift style, the Pittsburgh rapper has his own clothing line, has acted in several movies, one of them being “Mac & Devin Go To High School” where he shares the lead role with Snoop Dogg. The fact that Wiz Khalifa will perform in front of a million fans at the most popular New Year’s Eve celebration at New York’s Times Square definitely confirms his status as one of the most wanted stars of today.

Alongside Wiz Khalifa, the second hottest rap sensation, hailing from this side of the Atlantic Ocean comes straight to Exit Festival! South London-based Stormzy, the most wanted European rapper will perform on Sunday, 10 July at Exit Festival’s Main Stage, proving why he has been carrying the title of the best European MC. The 22-year old rapper is also the author of the first ever freestyle single that entered UK chart’s Top 40, as well as the first rapper who got the invitation to perform on Jools Holland! The best indicator of Stormzy as an unstoppable force is the recently engaged Christmas number 1 campaign to get “Shut Up” to the first place on the UK Singles Chart on the week of Christmas Day, usually taken up by one of X Factor stars.  To make his goal even harder, Justin Bieber also entered the race, as well as the “Star Wars” theme, though in spite of that, bookies are confident of Stormzy’s success, placing most odds in his favour! His provocative approach, socially engaging lyrics, as well as an enchanting rapping talent have won him the Best Grime Act at MOBO Awards 2015, also making his efforts highly demanded and trending on social networks all around the globe.

One of the most beautiful female R&B/hip-hop vocals, Ms Dynamite, will perform on the first day of Exit Festival as a part of the now widely-known X-Bass program, as well as the grand milestone celebration of the Playaz night, happening for 20 years now in the eponymous Fabric club in London! She has won awards that include the Album of the Year at Mercury Music Prize awards, two BRIT and three MOBO awards, and also collaborated with names that include DJ Fresh, Major Lazer, Katy B, Yasmin and Shy FX. During the same celebration Exit welcomes DJ giant and a bass music pioneer, the one of the founders of the True Playaz brand, the irreplaceable DJ Hype, as well as Sub Zero. Under the pseudonym DJ Hype, Kevin Ford won the Best Bass DJ award, and has also masterminded one of the most popular drum’n’bass remixes of “Ready or Not”. The summer anthem “Afterglow“, counting over 47 million YouTube views will storm through the Fortress walls on 8 July, as Exit hosts one of the unprecedented hitmakers of today, Wilkinson DJ set feat MC AD-APT! The London producer had dominated the UK Singles Chart with tracks from his album “Lazers Not Included“, and has also remixed tracks by Gorgon City, Chase & Status, as well as Example and Ed Sheeran. The list of bass stars is completed by another two names – the hot dubstep rockers Modestep DJ Set, whose latest release “London Road” has been named the best bass album of 2015! Also, Main Stage is also proud to present Ivy Lab, a phenomenal liquid drum’n’bass trio from London, signed under Critical, consisting of Sabre, Stray and Halogenix.
