EXIT Family includes seven events on seven different and amazing locations in five countries in the Balkan region: Sea Star Festival in Umag (Croatia), EXIT Festival in Novi Sad (Serbia), Sunland Festival in Primorsko (Bulgaria), Revolution Festival in Timisoara (Romania), Sea Dance Festival in Budva (Montenegro), Ada Divine Awakening in Ada Bojana (Montenegro) and No Sleep Festival in Belgrade (Serbia).

Under the symbolical slogan of EXIT 2.0, EXIT team marked the beginning of its new era in 2021, announcing numerous innovations in all areas of its activities. The home of EXIT festival, the medieval Petrovaradin Fortress, was in the focus of the global music scene, with more than 40 stages and zones on EXIT hosting some of the biggest music stars of today! Moreover, several selected EXIT acts from the previous two decades, whose performances have earned them a firm place in the festival’s history, also made a stop at the Fortress.

Sea Star Festival was founded in 2017 and since its inception has been the perfect opening of the festival season on the Croatian coast! After three very successful festival editions, the fourth edition of Sea Star Festival is eagerly awaited, both due to the breathtaking lineup with great acts, as well as the crystal turquoise sea, unforgettable fun with amazing people and the narrow, cobbled streets of the Umag old town!

A favorite destination for the best introduction to the summer, the Stella Maris Lagoon where the festival is held has hosted some of the hottest music stars such as: The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Paul Kalkbrenner, Fatboy Slim, Hurts, Robin Schulz, Sven Väth, Nina Kraviz, IAMDDB, as well as regional acts such as Dubioza Kolektiv, Rambo Amadeus, Elemental, Edo Maajka, Marko Nastić, Bajaga i Instruktori, Vojko V, Krankšvester and many others!

EXIT is a multiple award-winning music festival, founded in 2000, and since the beginning it has represented a place of musical pilgrimage for visitors from over 90 countries from all corners the world. The festival, which frequently tops lists of the best European and international music events, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2021 under the symbolical slogan EXIT 2.0.

In its 20 years of existence, EXIT hosted some of the leading names of the international music scene, including: Pet Shop Boys, Billy Idol, The Cure, The Killers, Guns N’ Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Liam Gallagher, Grace Jones, Faithless, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Migos, Sex Pistols, Kraftwerk, Korn, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Jamiroquai, M.I.A., Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Carl Cox, Avicii and many others.

EXIT was voted “Best Major Festival” at the European Festival Awards in Groningen, Netherlands in 2013 and 2017, but has also won “Best Overseas Festival” award in 2007, at the UK Festival Awards. Apart from the music industry awards, EXIT Festival has won the title of the Champion of Regional Cooperation, awarded by the Regional Cooperation Council. The award was received for connecting people from the Balkan region for more than two decades now, as well as for overcoming culturological, political and many other differences, as well as for promoting the spirit of tolerance, understanding and prosperity.

Sunland Festival

One of the most stunning beaches in Bulgaria, Perla beach near Primorsko is a host of the newest EXIT family event – Sunland Festival.

EXIT’s Bulgarian edition – Sunland brings the unique atmosphere of the original event and turns Perla beach into the most important seaside party spot. At the end of July, Sunland provides a complete day-and-night festival experience for all music fans. Mesmerizing Perla Beach becomes the hottest spot on the Black Sea coast, and hosts over 50 international and local artists for 3 days of music on 4 separate stages.

R:EVOL:UTION Festival

One of the most attractive parks in Timisoara, Casa Verde, whose natural decor is amplified by magical houses that look like castles, is a host to one of the EXIT family events – R:EVOL:UTION festival established in 2015. Festival has hosted countless international and regional stars such as Noisia, DJ Fresh, Unkle, Sabaton, Rudimental, Sigala, Gogol Bordello, Dub FX, Wilkinson, Dubioza Kolektiv and many others. Apart from the music program, R:EVOL:UTION festival is known for its focus on ecology, and various creative zones made by artists from all over the world.

Sea Dance festival, winner of the “Best Medium-Sized European Festival” award for 2014, gathers fans from more than 50 countries from all over the world.

Over the last six years, hits from regional and international music stars such as The Prodigy, David Guetta, Skrillex, Fatboy Slim, Sven Väth, Nina Kraviz, Alice Merton, Richie Hawtin, Jamiroquai, Underworld, Rudimental, Róisín Murphy, Hurts, Lost Frequencies, John Newman, Sean Paul, Robin Schulz, Nile Rodgers and many others, filled the Adriatic coast with incredible sounds and attracted more than 300,000 fans to Budva.

Long summer nights are even more beautiful on festivals near the sea. That is the main reason why Buljarica beach is a perfect festival location. Just a thirty-minute ride from the Old Town of Budva, and with a beach longer than 2 kilometers, it presents a true musical oasis, and true pearl of the Adriatic coast.

Ada Divine Awakening is the first festival of awareness and intimacy in the region, taking place in mid-September at the FKK Ada Bojana resort. ADA is the youngest member of the EXIT festival family.

At one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe, it brings together the world’s leading experts and educators in the fields of partnership, sexuality, and personal development, and features famous musicians from the region and the world.

This extraordinary retreat points to the key problems of the present, and on the other hand, through thematic workshops, provides knowledge and insights that improve every aspect of one’s life.

No Sleep Festival

No Sleep Festival is the youngest member of the EXIT festival family with an already enviable reputation. Thanks to its 2019 festival edition it was named “Best New Festival” at the European Festival Awards in the Netherlands in January 2020. For two years in a row, the festival was held in multiple venues and has gathered electronic music lovers from more than 40 countries all over the world in Belgrade, Serbia, who had an opportunity to hear some of the biggest electronic music artists such as Fatboy Slim, Nina Kraviz, Olof Dreijer, Dax J, I Hate Models, Francois X, Amelie Lens, Bicep, Anastasia Kristensen, Mind Against, Kobosil, Joyhauser, Farrago, YokoO, Terry Francis, Anna Wall, VTSS and many more!

No Sleep Festival also features daytime parties and workshops, along with a No Sleep Conference with panels that discuss burning topics in the music and creative industry, featuring exciting and knowledgeable international and local speakers.

The festival takes place at the Main Hangar in the Port of Belgrade, and other festival locations like the acclaimed city clubs such as Drugstore, 20/44, half, Mladost, Gadost, Gajba, Dot, Yugovinyl, as well as MARSH. Open Space.
