One of the world’s leading symphonic metal bands, the unstoppable sextet Epica, come from the Netherlands led by the unique vocalist Simone Simons. They have eight studio albums in their musical portfolio, half of which reached the top 10 best-selling list in the Netherlands.
LP releases “Requiem for the Indifferent“ (2012) and “The Quantum Enigma“ (2014) brought them international recognition and put them on the US Billboard Top 200 chart. They also received a Music Export Award in 2015 as the most successful internationally recognised Dutch band, while the 2016 album “The Holographic Principle“ was ranked tenth on Loudersound’s top list of the best symphonic metal LP releases.
