Sanela Halilović, better known under the pseudonym Sassja, is a songwriter and MC from Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her sound is a mixture of reggae, dub, dancehall and related genres. In 2010, after publishing a video production for the song "Ostavi da gori", she had various performances in cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. She collaborated with many regional record labels and performers. In 2011, she released a promo CD "Demo 2010/11" with seven songs, two of which were done together with Countryman and Jah Billah. Her debut album "Taktično praktično" was released in March 2015 and hits "Clash" and "Etikete" launched her to the top of all charts in the region. Sassja is unusually energetic, her rhymes and beats are addictive, which has helped her acquire the attention of a larger audience, and her talent was recognized also by Edo Maajka, Frenkie, DJ Soul and the entire team of Tuzla’s FM JAM, which is one of the most important leaders of alternative music scene in this part of Europe.
