With his recent semi-cryptic six-word tweet \u2013 \u201c<strong>Vol 2 is gonna be mad<\/strong>\u201c \u2013 Calvin started an avalanche of audience and media reactions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Vol 2 is gonna be mad<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CalvinHarris\/status\/1499493582759251969?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 3, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>According to <strong>EDM Tunes<\/strong> and <strong>The Music Essentials<\/strong>, although there\u2019s no official confirmation as of yet, this is almost certainly a hint toward a sequel to his album \u201c<strong>Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1<\/strong>\u201c, which was released five years ago. Featuring amazing collaborators, including <strong>Frank Ocean, Nicki Minaj, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott<\/strong>, and many others, the 2017 Vol. 1 is one of Harris\u2019s most successful releases with more than two billion streams.<\/p>\n<p>Although we don\u2019t know with whom <strong>Calvin Harris<\/strong> will collaborate on the upcoming release, American pop singer and songwriter <strong>Charlie Puth<\/strong> left a potential mark on his own Twitter account late last month.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Me and Calvin Harris made a fuckin really good song<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Charlie Puth (@charlieputh) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/charlieputh\/status\/1498382489395417089?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 28, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Judging by the comments on <strong>Calvin<\/strong>\u2019s original tweet, there are also hints of a collaboration with <strong>Madeon<\/strong> and <strong>SG Lewis<\/strong>.
