Thijs de Vlieger, a member of the legendary production trio, will also present his solo project under the pseudonym Thys, while the strongest-ever line-up of EXIT\u2019s X-Bass Pit will feature Harriet Jaxxon, LSB, Peree, Screamarts, Billain, SK3T & Minimalist, Slink, Tendo, Haringa, DSPT, and C:Critz. They all join the previously announced acts, including Nemy, Souldrive, Euphorics & Edge MC, Synchronicity, Baboon, Drop Sensei, BoJah MC, Bane, Indukt, and Buzzin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The X-Bass programme, consisting of 25 big names from the global, regional, and local drum\u2019n\u2019bass scenes, has been given a new leader \u2014 the phenomenal Groningen trio\u00a0Noisia<\/strong>,\u00a0who have greatly influenced and defined the direction in which the genre has developed. They have won several\u00a0Drum&Bass Arena<\/strong>\u00a0awards, including Best Production, Best Track (the famous\u00a0\u201cDead Limit<\/strong>\u201d, an indispensable part of any DnB rave), Best Music Video (\u201cMantra<\/strong>\u201d) and Best Album (\u201cOuter Edges<\/strong>\u201d). Although the band\u2019s members announced in 2019 that they would go their separate ways after a two-decade-long career, the famous\u00a0Noisia<\/strong>\u00a0will gather once again this summer and deliver a special DJ set to the audience at EXIT\u2019s\u00a0Visa Fusion Stage<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Thijs de Vlieger<\/strong>, one of the members of the iconic group, will also present his solo project to the\u00a0X-Bass Stage<\/strong>\u00a0audience under the pseudonym\u00a0Thys<\/strong>. His first solo release is the futuristic EP \u201cUnmoved Mover\/Unwound<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 an odyssey of breakbeats, dystopian synthesisers and orchestral transitions \u2013 after which he released \u201cGhostcards<\/strong>\u201d in 2021. \u201cUnmoved Mover\/Unwound<\/strong>\u201d was recorded at Vlienger<\/strong>\u2019s Groningen studio, which is also the base of the Noisia<\/strong> trio.<\/p>\n

Harriet Jaxxon<\/strong>, one of the most distinctive drum\u2019n\u2019bass artists to hit the scene in recent years, also joins the X-Bass Stage<\/strong>\u00a0line-up. Her tracks for the UKF<\/strong> platform have more than a million streams, and her previous releases have found their way onto releases from leading labels such as Drum & Bass Arena and Hospital Records<\/strong>. None of this comes as a surprise considering her musical background, which extends from old-school hip-hop through jungle and UK garage classics, as well as the passion for drum\u2019n\u2019bass she\u2019s had since her first rave.<\/p>\n

Luke Stephen Beavon \u2013 LSB<\/strong> from Great Britain, brings the so-called \u201crollers\u201d and melodic liquid drum\u2019n\u2019bass, one of the most popular directions within the genre. LSB<\/strong> has been involved in music production since 2007, when he released \u201cThe Eleventh Hour<\/strong>\u201d for the Deep Soul Music<\/strong> label, followed by releases for Demand Records, Spearhead, Integral and Hospital Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am where DnB is<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 this is the motto of Petra \u017dnidar\u0161i\u010d Peree<\/strong>, a Slovenian newcomer and rising star who will join us in the oasis of the highest-quality drum\u2019n\u2019bass this year. Peree<\/strong> is part of the group Basolovka<\/strong> from Ljubljana, and she participates in events produced by this collective as a resident.<\/p>\n

Screamarts<\/strong> is a young drum\u2019n\u2019bass producer from Salzburg, Austria, who began his music career ten years ago. Since then, he has used his production skills to take a leading role among the new artists in the genre. He is known for his dark and melodic sound and a minimalist and technologically driven musical taste, presented on Noisia Radio, Drum & Bass Arena, <\/strong>and DNB Portal<\/strong>, among other channels and labels. In 2018, he left an impressive mark on the music scene with releases for top labels, including Bad Taste Recordings, Subplate Recordings, Flexout, Blackout, Eatbrain, <\/strong>and Dispatch Recordings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Billain<\/strong>, an internationally acclaimed producer and DJ from Sarajevo, entered the music scene in 1998 when he started producing and playing techno music. He also had a brief foray into hip-hop beat-making but established himself as a drum\u2019n\u2019bass producer soon after. He is part of the Kontra<\/strong> collective, which laid the foundations for the DnB scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His tracks can be found in releases from labels such as Syndrome Audio, Citrus, Legendary Bad Taste, Rise Audio, Mindtech, Civil Music <\/strong>and Hospital<\/strong>. All of this has got him airtime on BBC Radio 1<\/strong> and the EP release \u201cColossus<\/strong>\u201d for the world-famous UKF<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Haringa Selectah<\/strong> also comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has been involved in DnB since 2001, throwing parties within the 05dobrocrew<\/strong> team, while his selection spans \u201cfrom funk to humour,\u201d in his own words.<\/p>\n

After a joint debut triumph earlier this year, sharing the stage with the giants of the global bass scene Black Sun Empire, Minimalist<\/strong> from Osijek and SK3T<\/strong> from Belgrade will bring a special B2B set. The local line-up will be bolstered by jungle\/drum\u2019n\u2019bass DJ Slink<\/strong> from Belgrade, Tendo and DSPT<\/strong> from Novi Sad, as well as producer C:Critz<\/strong>, who will present a deep\/minimal spectrum of the genre, having had the opportunity to share the stage with international acts such as AMC, Delta Heavy, Technimatic, The Upbeats<\/strong> and others.<\/p>\n

They all join the acts we have announced before, including renowned local producer Nemy<\/strong>, a veteran of the Novi Sad drum\u2019n\u2019bass scene Souldrive<\/strong>, Belgrade\u2019s Euphorics & Edge MC<\/strong>, the Ni\u0161 duo Synchronicity, Bane, Buzzin, Indukt<\/strong>, Codex, Vetas<\/strong>, a multi-genre duo from Novi Sad – Baboon, BoJah MC<\/strong>, as well as X-Bass Stage hosts \u2013 the Drop Sensei<\/strong> collective.<\/p>\n

The EXIT Festival will take place at the Petrovaradin Fortress from 7th to 10th July, featuring the likes of\u00a0Calvin Harris, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Iggy Azalea, Afrojack, James Arthur, Masked Wolf, Joel Corry, Jax Jones, Alok, ATB, Boris Brejcha, Honey Dijon, Maceo Plex, Reinier Zonneveld, Monolink, Denis Sulta, Mathame, ZHU, ACRAZE, Sama\u2019 Abdulhadi, ANNA, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Marky Ramone, Molchat Doma, She Past Away,\u00a0Konstrakta, Brkovi, Paraf, Vizelj, Coach Party, Sana Gari\u0107, Prti Bee Gee<\/strong>\u00a0and many others, with new announcements coming soon!<\/p>\n
