The EXIT\u2019s 15th<\/sup> birthday party will be celebrated in grand style: the EXIT Festival will be held from 9th<\/sup> to 12th<\/sup> July at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, while the second Sea Dance Festival will be held from 15th<\/sup> to 18th<\/sup> July at Jaz beach in Montenegro.<\/p>\n

Rock always had a home at EXIT. The lively genre rolled effortlessly through generations with its rich, energetic riffs. EXIT 2015 honours and welcomes rock\u2019n\u2019roll by revealing the first performers for the next edition of the festival: legendary MOT\u00d6RHEAD, <\/strong>California rockers EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, <\/strong>and the best representatives of the local rock scene, GOBLINI, <\/strong>EYESBURN<\/strong><\/strong> and \u0160KRTICE,<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the loudest hard rock bands of all time, MOT\u00d6RHEAD, <\/strong>are finally coming to EXIT to play hits like \u2018Ace of Spades\u2019, \u2018Rock Out\u2019, \u2018Killed By Death\u2019, \u2018Overkill\u2019 and many others in ravenous rhythm! Mot\u00f6rhead were formed back in 1975 by bass player and singer Lemmy Kilmister and the current line up with Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee can reflect on Mot\u00f6rhead\u2019s 40th Anniversary next year.\u00a0 The band, who were just nominated for another Grammy Award for \u2018Heartbreaker\u2019 from their beststelling current album \u2018Aftershock\u2019 had persistently fought against any classification of their music and frontman Lemmy Kilmister always open the set with: \u00a0\u201cWe are Mot\u00f6rhead. And we play rock\u2019n\u2019roll!\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

The legendary hard rock band has a huge fan base all over the world and a highly productive career: back in the studio in January 2015 they will start working on their 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0studio album to celebrate Mot\u00f6rhead\u2019s 40th Anniversary, \u00a0coming right up when they play the famous EXIT festival!<\/p>\n

One of the most entertaining rock\u2019n\u2019roll bands in the world, the Californian EAGLES OF DEATH METAL,<\/strong> will perform for the first time in Serbia in celebration of EXIT\u2019s 15th<\/sup> anniversary! The band has been successfully playing with the dirty rock aesthetic since 1998. Backed by their witty lyrics, videos and performances, they deconstruct stereotypes that were set by the hard riff sound. The band was formed by the mischievous rock\u2019n\u2019roll duo, the charismatic Jesse Hughes<\/strong> and the multitalented Josh Homme<\/strong>. Albums \u201ePeace, Love, Death Metal\u201c (2004), \u2018Death by Sexy\u2019 (2006) and \u2018Heart On\u2019 (2008) launched them to the very top of the world riff scene, while hits like poput \u2018I Want You So Hard (Boy\u2019s Bad News)\u2019, \u2018I Got a Feelin (Just Nineteen)\u2019, \u2018Wannabe in L.A\u2019, \u2018Miss Alissa\u2019, \u2018Cherry Cola\u2019, \u2018Only Want You\u2019 promise nothing short of an explosion of energy at the Petrovaradin Fortress.<\/p>\n

Eagles of Death Metal announced a new, long-awaited album set to be released in 2015. Frontmen Jesse Hughes commented on this in a highly recognisable fashion: \u201cAgain, [we’ve] stolen a bunch of songs from the greatest rock bands in the world. So technically, this will be the greatest rock album ever made!\u201c<\/p>\n

Serbian melodic punk rockers, GOBLINI<\/strong>, gained huge popularity in Serbia during the 1990s, with their album \u201cU magnovenju\u201d being considered one of the most influential releases on the domestic scene. The latest album, \u201cRoba s gre\u0161kom\u201d, enfirmed the band’s place on the regional punk scene, while their crowd goes wild during their energy-packed live performances!<\/p>\n

The rock\u2019n\u2019roll giants will be joined by the local representatives. The new Serbian supergroup \u0160KRTICE <\/strong>will perform in front of a world-class audience. The famous Serbian rock’n’roll frontman, Cane from Partibrejkersi, is joined by some of the finest Belgrade musicians. The supergroup’s collaboration promises to open a new chapter in rock music.<\/p>\n

One of the most influential hardcore\/reggae bands in the region, EYESBURN, <\/strong>have been active for an incredible twenty years. Their labour of love is best witnessed by their instantly recognisable sound – which is no small feat. Their mixture of tight guitar riffs and reggae rhythms set them grossly apart from other bands. Eyesburn will once again show at EXIT why they became and managed to stay a symbol of an entire social and music movement in Serbia and in the Balkans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
