The strongest-ever line-up of X-Bass stage<\/a> will also increase the BPM from the 6<\/b>th<\/b> to the 9<\/b>th<\/b> of July this year. The stage will be headlined by genre legends State of Mind and Jade, but also today\u2019s leading name in liquid drum\u2019n\u2019bass, Monrroe and the Austrian rising-star producer\/DJ Youphoria, while powerful support will be provided by regional and local acts Bane, Bojah MC, Buzzin, C:Critz, Dozet, Drop Sensei, Drumsta, DSPT, Indukt, Kritik, Lysergic, Missin, Quantrussyan, Rebar, Shizzla, Slink, Souldrive, Statik, Tendo, Vetas and Zooter!<\/b><\/p>\n

On the first evening of this year’s <\/span>EXIT festival<\/b>, Thursday, the 6<\/span>th<\/span> of July, <\/span>Main Stage<\/b><\/a> will be reserved for the most powerful underground electronic and bass sound! Electro-punk pioneers <\/span>The Prodigy<\/b>, drum’n’bass icons <\/span>Chase and Status,<\/b> and selector <\/span>Charlie Tee<\/b> are joined by British producer and DJ <\/span>Gardna<\/b>, who brings a fusion of dub and drum’n’bass. His 2019 debut album, <\/span>“Good Time Not a Long Time,”<\/b> perfectly illustrates his wide range, while last year’s <\/span>“Time & Space”<\/b> was met with critical acclaim, bringing him the title of <\/span>Future Artist of the Month<\/b> on <\/span>BBC Radio 1<\/b>!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

EXIT\u2019s <\/span>X-Bass stage<\/b>, a hidden gem reserved for drum\u2019n\u2019bass fans, will welcome genre legends, the New Zealand duo <\/span>State of Mind<\/b> with a career spanning over two decades, five studio albums, <\/span>Drum and Bass Arena <\/b>Award for Best Album (<\/span>\u201c<\/b>Eat the Rich<\/b><\/a>\u201c <\/b>from 2014) and three <\/span>New Zealand Music Awards<\/b> nominations. Joining them is <\/span>Jade<\/b>, a name that has been synonymous with neurofunk since the early 2000s, leaving a mark on major labels such as <\/span>Moving Shadow <\/b>and <\/span>Black Sun Empire Recordings<\/b> before founding his own <\/span>EATBRAIN<\/b>, while his tracks <\/span>\u201c<\/b>No Cure<\/b><\/a>\u201c<\/b> and <\/span>\u201c<\/b>Venom<\/b><\/a>\u201c<\/b> from the eponymous 2009 album are considered timeless genre classics.<\/span><\/p>\n
