Paul Kalkbrenner\u2019s performance in front of almost 10,000 people raised musical and production standards in regional clubbing and prepared us for one of the most powerful editions of EXIT’s mts Dance Arena this year in the best way possible.<\/b><\/p>\n

While Paul Kalkbrenner turned the Belgrade Arena into a techno hall with his timeless hits, artists like Eric Prydz, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Keinemusik, Hot Since 82, Michael Bibi, and CamelPhat will cement the Dance Arena\u2019s status as a temple of the most diverse genres of electronic music.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was the second edition of the <\/span>EXIT Dance Arena Belgrade Takeover<\/b> event, organized with the <\/span>TMRW<\/b> conference.\u00a0 The previous warm-up for the new edition of mts Dance Arena was led by <\/span>Hot Since 82<\/b> in the Main Hangar of the Port of Belgrade. Both parties fulfilled their purpose brilliantly \u2013 <\/span>they conveyed to the visitors the powerful energy of Dance Arena<\/b>, EXIT\u2019s temple of electronic music, and announced <\/span>the arrival of one of its strongest editions yet, from July 6 to 9, at the Petrovaradin Fortress<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans lined up in front of the Belgrade Arena already before midnight<\/b>, and the big party was attended by <\/span>numerous celebrities<\/b>, including basketball players <\/span>Miroslav Raduljica, Nemanja Nedovi\u0107, Marko Jari\u0107, and\u00a0 Nino \u010celebi\u0107, <\/b>actress <\/span>Milena Radulovi\u0107, <\/b>actor <\/span>Viktor Savi\u0107,\u00a0 <\/b>musician <\/span>Marko \u0110urovski, <\/b>and many others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Maestro <\/span>Paul Kalkbrenner <\/b>kept spinning the original tracks that propelled him to the <\/span>global techno throne <\/b>during his two-decade-long career. The two-hour live performance included <\/span>\u201cFeed Your Head,\u201c \u201cSky and Sand,\u201c \u201cCloud Rider,\u201c \u201cTe Quiero,\u201c \u201cNo Goodbye,\u201c and \u201cSi Soy Fuego,\u201c<\/b> and the audience gave him a ovation when he finally played \u201c<\/span>Aaron.<\/b>\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

The spectacular night in the Belgrade Arena began with <\/span>Lanna<\/b>, one of the most promising rising stars of the local scene, with a sound that combines melodic techno, progressive and indie dance. She was followed by a Hybrid DJ set by collective<\/span> IDQ<\/b>, who premiered songs from their newly released album <\/span>\u201cBorderline.<\/b>\u201c The entire show was masterfully closed by <\/span>Ilija Djokovic<\/b>, which also has a symbolic significance because it was Kalkbrenner, among others, who supported his career and work. And it\u2019s no wonder that he supported him \u2014 we’re talking about a performer from our region with releases on labels like <\/span>Drumcode, Filth on Acid, Terminal M, Second State,<\/b> and <\/span>Armada<\/b> Records<\/b>, who has recently started his own publishing house <\/span>Point Beyond<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last night, Belgrade felt the unstoppable energy that will move in full force from the Belgrade Arena to Dance Arena from July 6 to 9 in the <\/span>EXIT Universe<\/b>! The first night brings a unique all-female<\/span> concept, headlined by the most powerful women in the world\u2019s electronic music scene \u2013 <\/span>Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, <\/b>and<\/span> Indira Paganotto<\/b>, along with regional stars <\/span>Tijana T <\/b>and <\/span>MIJU.\u00a0 <\/b>The second night, July 7, will feature the undisputed #1 producer and DJ, the long-awaited <\/span>Eric Prydz<\/b>, as well as <\/span>CamelPhat, Human Rias, Space Motion, Coeus, Cosmic G, <\/b>and <\/span>Kristijan Molnar<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The third, hottest night is headlined by <\/span>Hot Since 82<\/b>, followed by <\/span>Michael Bibi, Vintage Culture, Layla Benitez, Gioli & Assie live, <\/b>and <\/span>Mene<\/b>. The last day of the festival, July 9, will feature <\/span>Agents of Time live, Ben Bohmer live, Mind Against, Marko Nasti\u0107, and<\/b> Goran Star\u010devi\u0107<\/b>, while the most sought-after producer and DJ collective <\/span>Keinemusik <\/b>will be in charge of the epic finale.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul Kalkbrenner’s show last night was held as part of the <\/span>TMRW conference<\/b>, which will close tomorrow with EXIT’s \u201c<\/span>Life is Live<\/b>\u201c panel, focusing on <\/span>technology addiction, the mental health of young people, the further advancement of technology<\/b>, as well as ways to <\/span>reduce its harmful effects on society<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
