The festival drew over 200,000 attendees from over 120 countries, as well as numerous music professionals and leading global media attracted by the line-up, location, energy, and sheer size of Europe’s festival champion. Among them were DJ Mag, Mixmag, Crack Magazine, Beatport, EDM, Euronews, Daily Express, and many more. “There’s nowhere quite like EXIT!” reported UK\u2019s Mixmag, a global electronic music scene giant.<\/b><\/p>\n

Since its inception, EXIT has captured the attention of leading international media giants, who, again this year, took home powerful impressions from the festival. The Italian branch of the influential DJ Mag<\/b><\/a> pronounced EXIT a “bastion of musical past, present, and future.” <\/b>Meanwhile, one of the world’s most influential electronic music magazines, the British Mixmag<\/b><\/a>, stated that “EXIT is like no other festival,”<\/b> adding that “there’s nowhere quite like EXIT.”<\/b> This publication described the opening at the Gorki List Main Stage<\/b> as divine<\/b> and declared the mts Dance Arena<\/b> an “electronic music haven.”<\/b> The prestigious Crack Magazine<\/b><\/a> highlighted EXIT as “one of the most renowned music events on the European summer calendar.\u201d <\/b>They also had this to say about the event: \u201cAttending EXIT Festival felt like a rite of passage. Held in the enormous, labyrinthine Petrovaradin Fortress, the location itself was something to behold. As we crossed the bridge over the Danube and walked up into the expansive festival site, the sheer magnitude of the four-day extravaganza sunk in.”\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

UK\u2019s Euronews<\/b><\/a> called EXIT a \u201cBalkan haven for drum n\u2019 bass and techno,\u201c<\/b> highlighting the \u201cincredible, unique festival location.\u201c<\/b> This coverage was also picked up by Yahoo<\/b><\/a>! The production at the mts Dance Arena<\/b> during Eric Prydz’s<\/b> performance was described as “<\/b> one of the festival\u2019s most impressive visual shows, transfixing revelers as they bathe in light.” <\/b>Special attention was given to the celebration of 50 years of hip-hop, with the Wu-Tang Clan<\/b> as the genre’s most prominent representatives, and the all-female nights on the two largest festival stages. The British Daily Express<\/b><\/a> described this year’s festival as “<\/b> dusk till dawn partying,”<\/b> calling the mts Dance Arena<\/b> an “electronic music temple.”<\/b> The American EDM<\/b><\/a> portrayed the four festival nights as “<\/b> unbridled dance music bliss,”<\/b> declaring EXIT “<\/b> one of Europe\u2019s most diverse and exciting music festivals.” <\/b>Deep House Amsterdam<\/b><\/a> pointed out that the “<\/b> festival boasts next-level production on a vast scale.”<\/b><\/p>\n

The renowned Beatport<\/b><\/a> streamed performances from the mts Dance Arena<\/b> each night on its Facebook<\/a> and YouTube <\/a>channels. Notable features on the leading digital platform for electronic music included Nina Kraviz, Hot Since 82, Agents of Time, Mind Against, Indira Paganotto, Vintage Culture, CamelPhat, Gioli & Assia, Layla Benitez, 8Kays<\/b>, as well as Tijana T, Lanna, Coeus, Marko Nasti\u0107, Kristijan Molnar, <\/b>and Space Motion<\/b>. Special attention was given to Human Rias<\/b> during a unique Beatport Instagram takeover<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This year’s edition of the EXIT festival<\/b> was also well-documented on Instagram pages such as Deep Tech Minimal<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>Techno and House Music<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>EDM<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>Sound of Techno<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>Techno City<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>Ravers Residence<\/b><\/a>,<\/b> and many others, with over ten million combined followers!<\/b> Nina Kraviz<\/b> and Indira Paganotto\u2019s<\/b> spontaneous B2B set drew particular attention, but so did Skrillex’s<\/b> performance and the magical closing of the festival at the mts Dance Arena<\/b> with the Keinemusik<\/b> collective.This year, over 400 media outlets from countries worldwide<\/b> reported from EXIT, spanning from the United States and Mexico to France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Greece, all the way to Egypt, and India. Among them were American EDM<\/b> and Nexus Radio<\/b>, India’s EDMLI<\/b>, Egypt’s Yalla Techo<\/b>, Mexico’s Vinil TV<\/b>, branches of the famous Mixmag<\/b> from the Netherlands and Germany, Spain’s El Hype<\/b>, France’s Guettapen<\/b> and Les Mixeurs<\/b>, Germany’s Backspin<\/b>, the Czech Republic’s Headliner<\/b>, and many others. Finally, in their video report<\/a>, the British Euronews<\/b> concluded: “It\u2019s been truly a brilliant time here.
