It’s a day dedicated to celebrating and admiring every aspect of photography: the art, science, and history. Today, EXIT celebrates its team of photographers, thanks to whom every moment of EXIT’s revolution has been immortalized, from its inception in 2000 to the last sounds echoing through Petrovaradin Fortress this year.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

In the colorful world of music festivals, it is the photographers who capture the most special, vivid, and emotional moments. Together, they orchestrate a visual masterpiece and, more importantly, bring irreplaceable memories to the tangible world, giving them eternity. Bound by a shared passion, this team is characterized by friendship, a good mood, and an incredibly adventurous spirit that allows them to capture moments from perspectives no visitor can.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Meeting my current wife while returning from EXIT 2015 on the Varadin “Rainbow” bridge. My favorite moment this year was lying in the photo pit for 15 minutes waiting to take a picture.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s simply call it an incredibly emotional moment at The Prodigy’s show.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Exactly six years ago, when Hot Since 82 played at the same place, I imagined how much I’d like to photograph him around the world. That wish came true, but the feeling with him at Dance Arena can’t be compared to any other performance.<\/p>\n

My favorite EXIT moment is my first photo when the sun starts to rise above Dance Arena, and the energy becomes even wilder as if people hadn’t been dancing all night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year’s EXIT was the best in terms of logistics. I covered the Main Stage, and honestly, selecting just three photos was tough.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Too many cherished moments to pick just one, and I\u2019m sure the best is yet to come. But if I had to choose, it’d be Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds’ 2022 EXIT show.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Four years ago, I snapped a pic of Amelie Lens that went viral as a meme. In 2021, I gifted her a large print of it. The facial expression in this photo reminds me a bit of that first shot.<\/p>\n

Indira is remarkably photogenic. This was my fourth time in a year shooting at one of her shows. I always aim to capture genuine and heartfelt moments like this.<\/p>\n

<\/span>I’ve been listening to Ben for years and was thrilled to photograph him. I spent the entire set onstage, soaking it in.<\/p>\n

When I shoot people at EXIT, I try for a documentary-style approach, which I find more intriguing and challenging. I think this photo best represents that.<\/p>\n

Favorite EXIT moment:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

My favorite EXIT moment was Skepta’s performance on the Main Stage in 2019. My first time in the photo pit, and there in front of me was a UK grime legend. I’d been a fan for ages since I was a kid, so hearing him live was surreal. All in all, an incredible experience \u2013 listening to Skepta standing right in front of me and shooting him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s always a challenge to capture a moment already shot multiple times by talented colleagues, but I try to catch it in a slightly different way<\/span>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How could I miss the EXIT opening fireworks, taken from a different angle than we’re used to<\/span>?<\/p>\n

<\/span>A photo from hip-hop\u2019s 50<\/span>th<\/span>-anniversary celebration at EXIT this year and the first main stage performance where I was the only on-stage photographer. It holds a special place in my heart<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I chose the Dino Blunt photo because I’m a huge fan of black and white imagery, and it perfectly aligned with his persona and movement, portraying the energy he brings.<\/p>\n

<\/span>The photo from Rodjeni’s performance is everything rap\/hip-hop\/trap: crazy audience, mosh pits, and a wild concert.<\/p>\n

<\/span>I picked the FTP photo because their performance was on the first day, and it was the first major show, showing me the true essence of the Gang Beats stage.<\/p>\n
