Guitar wizard and <\/span>Rage Against the Machine<\/b> co-founder <\/span>Tom Morello<\/b><\/a> has been inducted into the <\/span>Metal Hall of Fame<\/b> this week. <\/span>M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce<\/b> guitarist <\/span>John 5<\/b> presented him at the prestigious ceremony<\/span>. <\/b>\u201cLast night was an honor because heavy metal is in the DNA of everything I\u2019ve ever done. It\u2019s about being true to yourself and not caring what anyone thinks. (\u2026) Metal\u2019s what made me,\u201d<\/i><\/b> Morello expressed in an <\/span>Instagram post<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> sharing his fondest memories with the genre.<\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this month, <\/span>Morello<\/b> teamed up with <\/span>Sheryl Crow<\/b> on the single <\/span>“Evolution,”<\/b> contributing his signature guitar solos. <\/span>“<\/b>To me, Tom’s playing comes from some other planet. It’s a cool bit of kismet that we were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the same year, and his solo on ‘Evolution’ just ejects you into space,”<\/i><\/b> said <\/span>Crow<\/b>.
