In this digital age, EXIT and UNICEF&#8217;s campaign serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of <\/span><b>authentic life experiences.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> When did we last feel <\/span><b>adored <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>loved<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? When was the last time someone <\/span><b>kissed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>hugged<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> us? When did we last <\/span><b>dance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? The message from these organizations is clear: <\/span><b>let\u2019s stay truly connected, because life is live.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> They ask: <\/span><b>Are we, paradoxically, more connected yet lonelier than ever?<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The internet and social media have enabled constant communication but have also led to significant <\/span><b>alienation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The global scale of <\/span><b>loneliness<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has reached such proportions that the <\/span><b>World Health Organization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (WHO) has declared it a <\/span><b>pressing health threat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. On the other hand, the very <\/span><b>essence of music festivals<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is in providing genuine, powerful experiences through meaningful human interaction. Considering the potential impact of a single large festival, it becomes clear how it can contribute to the long-term <\/span><b>well-being of hundreds of thousands of individuals and even entire generations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EXIT and UNICEF are striving to highlight the immense importance of <\/span><b>real-life interaction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for mental health, especially for young people in the digital age. Visitors at this year&#8217;s Sea Star and EXIT Festival will have access to zones dedicated to this campaign. Moreover, the most prominent European festival association, <\/span><b>Yourope<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, has backed this campaign through its \u201cFuture-Fit Festivals\u201d (3F) platform, extending this critical conversation to hundreds of thousands of festival-goers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a reminder, on EXIT\u2019s birthday, June 29 last year, EXIT Foundation and UNICEF launched a multi-year, comprehensive collaboration focused on raising awareness about the importance of youth mental health. This is one of the most pressing issues of our time, as <\/span><b>poor mental health <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a leading cause of illness, disability, and social exclusion. Creating a complete digital identity, as opposed to a real one, and the illusion of connection and friendship without genuine closeness have left young people lonelier, more depressed, and more anxious than ever. This campaign is primarily aimed at them, but also anyone interested in mental health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Everyone can access the website <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lifeislive.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>lifeislive.org<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which will be filled with educational content throughout this long-term initiative. The campaign also directs attention to <\/span><b>UNICEF&#8217;s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>OPENS&#8217;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> platform <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/svejeok.rs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>svejeok.rs<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which provides valuable information on the challenges young people face and verified solutions.
