Remarkably, <\/span><b>83%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of those surveyed stated that the festival was the sole reason they visited Novi Sad, reinforcing EXIT\u2019s role in positioning <\/span><b>Novi Sad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Serbia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as key destinations on the global tourist map. The largest groups of foreign visitors came from <\/span><b>Hungary<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Germany<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Turkey<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Russia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Austria<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>the Netherlands<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>the UK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Romania<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>France<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Italy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Greece<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Bulgaria<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>the Czech Republic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Slovakia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with guests from as far afield as <\/span><b>Mexico<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Australia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Argentina<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Senegal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Within the region, the majority of visitors hailed from <\/span><b>Croatia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Slovenia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This year, <\/span><b>46%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of festival-goers were attending for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On average, visitors spent <\/span><b>\u20ac592<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>Novi Sad<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Serbia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during the festival, a <\/span><b>\u20ac25<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> increase from the previous year. Tourists from <\/span><b>Western Europe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> spent an average of <\/span><b>\u20ac832<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while those from <\/span><b>Eastern Europe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> spent <\/span><b>\u20ac688<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, representing a substantial increase of <\/span><b>\u20ac64<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> compared to the previous year. Visitors from outside <\/span><b>Europe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> had the highest average spending at <\/span><b>\u20ac981<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, nearly <\/span><b>\u20ac88<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> more than last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond its economic impact, EXIT also contributes significantly to the <\/span><b>international promotion of Novi Sad and Serbia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. For over two decades, visitors, performers, and prominent media outlets have shared their impressions of the festival\u2019s hospitality, its unique location at the Petrovaradin Fortress, the outstanding organization, the music program, and the beauty of Novi Sad and Serbia\u2019s tourist offerings. This international media exposure is considered <\/span><b>invaluable<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The average age of those surveyed this year was <\/span><b>25.3,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> consistent with last year\u2019s figure of <\/span><b>25.5<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>Highly educated<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> individuals, including students, comprised <\/span><b>72%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the audience. The top five stages included <\/span><b>Tesla Universe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>mts Dance Arena<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Visa Fusion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>No Sleep<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Gang Beats<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, the festival placed a particular emphasis on <\/span><b>mental health<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through messages of support and empowerment displayed across the <\/span><b>Petrovaradin Fortress<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. These initiatives included the \u201c<\/span><b>SRCE\u201d Center<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><b>\u201cLife Is Live\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> campaign, which sparked conversations with attendees about mental health and digital addiction. Notably, <\/span><b>87%<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of respondents felt that <\/span><b>EXIT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> had a positive impact on their mental well-being. The study also revealed that attendees spend an average of <\/span><b>4.6 hours<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a day on their phones, highlighting the need for increased awareness of digital addiction, a topic <\/span><b>EXIT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> plans to continue addressing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The research was conducted by \u201c<\/span><b>TIM Centar\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Novi Sad, with a representative sample of <\/span><b>1,354<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> attendees, exclusively those who purchased tickets.
