Serbia’s legendary band Eyesburn is celebrating their 20th anniversary of their first big live performance, kickstarting their comeback with a huge and much talked-about performance in Belgrade in the first half of 2019.
They started out in 1994 with Coyote (Kojot) as the band’s vocalist and as a frontman who, in the years to come, became one of the most recognizable faces in music. They soon followed up with their debut release “Dog Life” and set out to experiment, with Coyote playing his trademark trombone and Eyesburn’s sound being enriched with the influences of reggae, dub and drum & bass. This led to their majestic album “Fool Control”, with the eponymous hit single which defined a generation.
After numerous other releases, such as “Gabau” and tireless performances, the band took a break for several years. Following their comeback, they are marking the year 2019 as a special one, thanks to the anniversary which was also marked with the release of the video for “War Control”, taken off the famous “Fool Control” album.
