EXIT 2.0: All your questions answered

EXIT team will be following the current situation of the pandemic closely, always keeping in mind the safety and health of all visitors, artists and team members which is paramount. The event will be organized in close cooperation with the National Health Coordination team in Serbia, following all health and government guidelines. We are also in direct contact with the leading epidemiologists of the country to stay up-to-date.

EXIT has gone through many ups and downs during the past 20 years and always managed to provide the right answers, thanks to a flexible approach. Covid is the greatest challenge of our recent history, but as always, our goal is to prevail and send a positive message of hope to all our colleagues, friends, fellow festivals and most importantly our fans! And the most positive message we can send is pretty simple: EXIT is happening this year!

Dates
We are more than confident about our current dates, so the festival will take place between 8-11 July 2021. In the unlikely case of having to postpone the event due to a sudden change of the Covid situation across Europe, we will give you more options.

Health and safety measures at the festival
We are actively monitoring the situation and will put into place the best solutions to make the entry both simple and safe. We are working on several scenarios as the situation is constantly changing and will use the best and most realistic one. Be sure we will do our best and keep you safe and happy!

Covid tests to cross borders
At this moment to enter Serbia you’ll need negative PCR test (not older than 48 hours) or confirmation of vaccination. In case tests (PCR or rapid) are required by your own country before returning home after the event, we will provide you information on how this can be done the easiest and cheapest way. We hope that PCR tests for entering Serbia will be abolished by June for touristic reasons, the same as it was last year during the summer.

Ticketing options
Your ticket will stay valid even in the unlikely case of having to change the date of our event. In case the new date is not acceptable for you for any reasons, you can choose from 2 options:

a) Keeping your ticket for 2022
b) Asking for refund (decided case-by-case)

Again, we are very confident about our current dates, so – unless dramatic changes of the pandemic situation occur – the festival will take place between 8-11 July 2021 at Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.

Will all the stages be working?
Yes, we currently plan to run the event with all stages.

Will the festival run with full capacity?
It is not yet clear if there will be any limitations to the capacity of the festival, as this will be decided within state’s measures in the following weeks. We will act accordingly, always making sure to keep fans, artists and working staff safe. All updated info will be available on these info pages.

SAFETY MEASURES

What protection measures will be present at the festival?
The health and safety of visitors, performers, as well as all members of the festival team are in the first place. All precautionary measures will be implemented in accordance with the official measures of the Government of Serbia and the Ministry of Health, with which we will work closely and ensure that all visitors are as safe as possible – from an adequate number of sanitary stations, emergency teams, special isolation facilities in case any of the visitors show any symptoms of the disease.

Are there any special measures for visitors who come to the festival outside of Serbia?

TICKETS

What if I already bought a ticket for EXIT for the 2020 edition?
All EXIT 2020 tickets are automatically valid for 2021 festival (unless refunded).

In case the event is postponed and I can’t make it, how do I request a ticket refund?
You can ask for a refund of the face value of your tickets directly from the ticket retailer you bought it from. Please note we only accept refund claims with proper reasoning. All informations on the refund procedure will be announced later.

Will I receive a ticket refund in full?
The face value of your ticket will be refunded (not including the booking fee).

What if the festival happens, but I’m not allowed into Serbia, or I cannot travel from my own country due to epidemical reasons?
If this happens, your ticket will be valid for EXIT festival in 2022, but no refund will be available. Please check this info closer to the festival to get the info how to transfer your ticket to 2022.

Can I sell my ticket?
The re-sale of any ticket(s) purchased through our website is prohibited, only the named ticket holder can redeem that ticket. Tickets found in the possession of anyone but the named ticket holder will become void without a refund issued.

I won the ticket as a prize through a competition. What should I do?
If you won a ticket through a competition or at an event, you are not eligible for a refund, but you can change the ticket to a 2021 ticket.

ACCOMMODATION

What if I want to change the booked accommodation through the EXIT Trip tourist service?
The reservation can be changed depending on the possibilities and availability for a specific service. For all changes of accommodation booked through EXIT Trip tourist service, please contact [email protected]. Their customer service will do its best to meet your needs.

I have booked my accommodation and/or travel privately, but need to change it, what should I do?
Unfortunately, this is out of our reach, but we advise you to get in touch with the company/hotel where you made your reservations and see what your options are.

If I bought a festival package (EXIT ticket + accommodation) last year, can I use my EXIT ticket this year and refund or exchange the booked accommodation through the EXIT Trip tourist service?
The good news is that you don’t have to do anything to be a part of this year’s festival. All packages are automatically valid for this year’s festival. For all changes of accommodation booked through EXIT Trip tourist service, please contact [email protected]. Their customer service will do its best to meet your needs.

Will there be a camping site this year?
Yes, we currently plan to run our camping in full capacity – respecting all safety regulations.

What facilities will you have on the campsite? Will you have more showers, toilets?
The health and safety of campsite guests are in the first place. All precautionary measures will be implemented in accordance with the official measures of the Government of Serbia and the Ministry of Health, with which we will work closely and ensure that all camping guests are as safe as possible, also being able to use an adequate number of sanitary facilities.
