Skrillex: New Single “Xena“
The year of Skrillex continues in full motion – this week, it’s all about the new single “Xena”, created in collaboration with Palestinian singer, composer and flautist Nai Barghouti. The track has been rumbling through Skrillex‘s sets for a long time, and by the time of its release it was enjoying the status of one of the most anticipated from his upcoming double album.
“Xena” is the fifth single in a row, after the tracks “Rumble” (feat. Fred again.. & MC Flowdan), “Way Back” (feat. PinkPantheress & Trippie Redd), “Leave Me Like This” (feat. Bobby Raps), and last week’s “Real Spring“. The forthcoming double LP, teased with the caption “DGTC/QFF”, is scheduled for release this year, and while the meaning of “QFF” is yet-unknown, the “DGTC” links to the producer’s 2022 tweet “Don’t Get Too Close”, which could be the album’s name.
