Skrillex: New Single Xena

The year of Skrillex continues in full motion – this week, it’s all about the new single “Xena”, created in collaboration with Palestinian singer, composer and flautist Nai Barghouti. The track has been rumbling through Skrillex‘s sets for a long time, and by the time of its release it was enjoying the status of one of the most anticipated from his upcoming double album.

“Xena” is the fifth single in a row, after the tracks Rumble(feat. Fred again.. & MC Flowdan), Way Back(feat. PinkPantheress & Trippie Redd), Leave Me Like This(feat. Bobby Raps), and last week’s Real Spring. The forthcoming double LP, teased with the caption “DGTC/QFF”, is scheduled for release this year, and while the meaning of “QFF” is yet-unknown, the “DGTC” links to the producer’s 2022 tweet “Don’t Get Too Close”, which could be the album’s name.

More remixes are coming soon, and this will be the the second compilation that &Me, Rampa and Adam Port inspired with their 2021’s album Send Return. The first one, that was released last year, featured remixes of “Saving My Love“, “Confusion“, and “Paris“, covered by Palms Trax, Laolu and Chloé Caillet.

Vintage Culture: Born Of Music Addiction and Video Single „If I Live Forever“

Last week, Brazilian producer and DJ Vintage Culture unveiled a new single – “If I Live Forever”, which is also the first track from his upcoming debut album. This week, the tape got an additional visual segment, in the form of a music video! “Vintage is a Culture, a community” – wrote the producer on his Instagram profile, sharing with fans his thoughts about the release and the forthcoming album, which, he says, will be “the fullfilment of another lifelong dream”.

His versatility is also evidenced by joining forces with the platform for the electronic music scene and lifestyle BOMA, with which he will launch new series of events, a record label and a clothing brand, the launch of which is planned for April this year!
