Just last week, she won the hearts of the audience at EXIT’s mts Dance Arena, and now she has also claimed victory at this year’s LMF competition. “Wow, I can’t describe my happiness! Thank you so much, everyone,” she wrote on Instagram.
Fresh from her stunning performance at EXIT Festival last Thursday, where she stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the most powerful women in the global electronic music scene – Nina Kraviz, Indira Paganotto, and Amelie Lens – Lanna received some incredible news. She won the prize for the best set in this year’s LMF competition, securing a chance to perform in Las Vegas!
Lanna’s path to stardom began when she first performed at EXIT as a thirteen-year-old, making her the youngest-ever act in the multi-award-winning European festival. She has since shared the stage with some of the world’s biggest music stars, such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Tijana T, and others. Last fall, she got into music production, starting with her debut single, “My Journey.“ This was followed by the EP “White Shadows“ with renowned producer Sebastian Haas, and she became the youngest producer ever to make it to Beatport’s Top 100 Progressive-House list!
This year, she hit the ground running. She began with a spectacular opening set at EXIT Dance Arena Belgrade Takeover event with Paul Kalkbrenner and continued by closing Sea Star festival in Umag, where she kept thousands of fans dancing till the early morning hours following a performance by the psy-techno queen, Indira Paganotto. Just last week, she not only won the hearts of EXIT’s mts Dance Arena audience but also of her fellow producers and DJs, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, and Indira Paganotto, who performed the same evening as part of a unique all-female concept.
Lanna is not only the first representative of EXIT Echosystem Music & Talent Office, a comprehensive hub for the development of global music stars but also this year’s Youth Star – a beacon for her generation. She has also been selected in the electronic music category of the national Serbia Creates: The Spotlight competition. A string of performances at the most famous local and regional festivals are lined up for her till the end of the year, the first one at the Croatian Forestland Festival. Her career is only beginning, and she will soon have the chance to perform across the pond in Las Vegas, of all places!
