This year, once again, the Play @ EXIT contest supports the development of up-and-coming performers by offering original musicians and bands a unique opportunity to showcase their talent on one of the festival’s most established and influential stages: the eclectic Visa Fusion stage and the legendary, intense Explosive stage. Artists can apply from May 16 to June 6, 2025, and the selected acts will perform at this year’s EXIT Festival, scheduled for July 10–13, 2025.

Bands and musicians can apply for the Play @ EXIT contest by filling out the form at this link.

The contest is open to new bands and artists who perform original music live, regardless of whether they are signed to a label. Applicants must submit at least two original tracks available on a streaming platform, along with their contact details, a short biography, a photo, and a specified music genre.

A team of long-time EXIT programming managers will select the winners of this year’s Play @ EXIT contest. The chosen performers will have the opportunity to share the stage with some of the leading international and regional acts, including the already-announced Total Chaos, Public Serpents, and The Drowns from the USA; Billy Liar, Heavy Lungs, and The Meffs from the UK; This Means War from Belgium; Perkele from Sweden; Meryl Streek from Ireland; Eskröta and Krisiun from Brazil; The Committee and Impiety from Singapore; Nihilo from Italy; Vlkn from Hungary; Ocean of Another and Pi*ke Vrište from Croatia; as well as local acts Džoni Midnajt Trio, Pure Impact, Lower Parts of Human Sludge, and many others.
