Following last year’s 25th anniversary celebration, EXIT Foundation now presents EXIT Universe, a traveling cultural experience that carries the spirit of EXIT beyond the Fortress and into festivals and public spaces.
Blending immersive technology, music, storytelling and community, EXIT Universe transforms a quarter-century of festival history into a living, interactive journey. Whether you spent countless nights dancing at the Main Stage, watched the sunrise from the Dance Arena, or have always wondered what made EXIT unlike any other festival, EXIT Universe invites you to step inside its world.
Designed as an open-air cultural village, EXIT Universe will travel across the Hungary – Serbia cross-border region during this year, bringing together culture, innovation and community in an entirely new format. The first stop is Malomfesztivál in Orom, Serbia (6-8 August 2026), followed by Green Future Music Festival in Senta, Serbia (13–16 August 2026) and Sunset Picnic, at National Heritage Park in Ópusztaszer, Hungary (18 September 2026).
At the heart of the experience is the iconic EXIT Van, welcoming visitors into a series of immersive zones that reveal the festival from entirely new perspectives. Walk through the story of EXIT’s 25-year journey, discover its international awards and social impact, and then step beyond the audience into the VR Experience Zone. Using cutting-edge VR technology, spatial audio, and cinematic 360° video, it recreates the energy, scale, and emotion of EXIT Festival from exclusive perspectives, placing you on stage with world-famous artists, backstage during live performances, and overlooking crowds of tens of thousands.
Visitors can continue exploring EXIT’s musical heritage at the Best Of EXIT zone, choosing between legendary Main Stage performances, unforgettable Dance Arena moments and highlights from the Fusion Stage, before unwinding in the EXIT Energy Zone, a relaxed social space inspired by the atmosphere that has always made the festival more than music.
Rather than simply telling the story of EXIT, EXIT Universe invites visitors to become part of it. It is a place to remember, to discover and to experience the energy that has connected generations of festival-goers for a quarter of a century. Because some stories are too powerful to stay in one place.
EXIT Universe is part of the Incredible Destinations Events project, a partnership between the EXIT Foundation and the National Heritage Park in Ópusztaszer (ONTE), Hungary, implemented with the support of the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary–Serbia.
The Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia is implemented within the 2014-2020 European Union financial framework, under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA). On the basis of “shared management system” of the participating countries – Hungary and Serbia, the Programme funds and supports co-operation projects of organizations based in the Programme-eligible area – Hungarian counties Csongrád and Bács-Kiskun, and Serbian territories: West Bačka, North Bačka, South Bačka, North Banat, Central Banat, South Banat and Srem district. The Programme helps the development of a stable and co-operating region and the overall quality of life in the border region. It enables economic collaboration of organizations from the two countries, nurtures the common identity, and cultural and historical heritage of the border region, and contributes to its environmental sustainability and safety.
