EXIT Dance Arena Takes Over the Capital: 5.000 Fans Dance to Hot Since 82!

EXIT festival season was officially launched this Saturday with a spectacular EXIT Dance Arena Belgrade Takeover event in a packed Main Hangar of the Port of Belgrade.

More than 5.000 people, including many celebrities, danced to Hot Since 82, who, in addition to the most sophisticated tech house sound, blessed the capital with festival energy and the sound of the colossal mts Dance Arena, EXIT’s temple of electronic music and one of the biggest dance floors in the world. The event Belgrade had been waiting for was the perfect prelude to one of the best editions of mts Dance Arena yet! From 6th to 9th July, aside from Hot Since 82, the Petrovaradin Fortress will play host to Eric Prydz, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Keinemusik, Michael Bibi, CamelPhat and many others!

Euphoria spread through Belgrade this Saturday for a party everyone wanted to attend. EXIT Dance Arena Belgrade Takeover event exceeded all audience expectations and made for a fantastic prelude for the upcoming EXIT festival. Many celebrities had a great time in the Hangar, including actors – Miloš Biković, Lena Bogdanović, Aleksandar Radojičić, Jelisaveta Orašanin Teodosić, Pavle Mensur, Survivor contestants Jovana Tomić and Vladimir Govedarica, musician Marko Đurovski, basketball player Nino Čelebić, well-known Serbian influencers Vladimir Gašić and Veselin Zvekić, Andrija Milivojević Wajwai, Vojislav Panjković, TV personality, model, and singer Dana Barbara Gašić Gouveia, model Dunja Radičević and many others. 

The star of the evening, Hot Since 82, considered one of the best producers and DJs in the UK, used his sophisticated music palate to bless the Belgrade Hangar with the sound of one of the biggest dance floors in the world and deliver the festival energy that awaits us this July at the Petrovaradin Fortress. He belted out club hits like Make Up and “Eye of the Storm, as well as anthems Love Storyand Out Every Night, finishing his masterful set with the classic Music Is The Answer.

The evening was opened by last year’s winner of the Let’s Mix It competition Dakman. After him, the music project IDQ performed their hybrid DJ set, during which they premiered unreleased tracks from the long-awaited album “Borderline, while an excellent overture for the hottest set of the evening was made by one of leading regional DJs Kristijan Molnar, who once again presented the audience with a wide range of fresh and diverse music. After Molnar and Hot Since 82, the memorable show was wrapped up in the early hours of the morning by Belgrade’s own international producer and DJ Mene, who already has residencies in three clubs in Ibiza.

On Saturday, Belgrade felt the unstoppable energy of the colossal Dance Arena, which will manifest itself in full force at the Petrovaradin Fortress from the 6th to the 9th of July in EXIT Universe! The first night brings a unique all-female concept led by the most powerful women on the global electronic music scene — Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens and Indira Paganotto, and regional stars Tijana T and MIJU.  The second night, 7th July, will feature the undisputed #1 producer and DJ, the long-awaited Eric Prydz, as well as CamelPhat, Human Rias, Space Motion, Coeus, Cosmic G and Kristijan Molnar.

The third and hottest night is headlined by none other than Hot Since 82, along with Michael Bibi, Vintage Culture, Layla Benitez, Gioli & Assie live and Mene. The last day of the festival, 9th July, will feature Agents of Time live, Ben Bohmer live, Mind Against, Marko Nastić and Goran Starčević, while the most sought-after producer and DJ collective Keinemusik will be in charge of the epic finale.
