Anyone who has ever been part of the crowd at his performances knows that the Temple of Electronic Music will be the ultimate destination that night at Petrovaradin Fortress!
The Swedish master of progressive sound, whose early hits continue to shape generations of clubbers, has become synonymous with innovation and perfectionism behind the decks. As early as the 2000s, with his debut single “Aftermath” and the “Proper Education” remix of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall,” Prydz laid the foundation for his future dominance on the scene. Despite the popularity and commercial success of the hits that made him a global phenomenon, he chose a path of artistic exploration, further refining his sound to an even more sophisticated level.
Through his alias projects Pryda and Cirez D, he solidified his reputation as a visionary who doesn’t just follow trends but sets them, a legacy further reinforced by his label Pryda Recordings, which has remained dedicated to authentic, high-quality sound. Alongside progressive masterpieces like “Every Day”, “Opus”, and “Generate” Prydz’s career has been marked by numerous accolades, including Best Breakthrough Solo Artist at the International Dance Music Awards 2008, DJ of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards 2017, and a Grammy nomination in 2013 for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for his remix of M83’s “Midnight City.”
All of this positions him as one of the most creative and innovative producers of our time, blending meticulously crafted emotional compositions with powerful basslines and visionary stage presence, turning every performance into an unforgettable audiovisual spectacle. Over the course of four performances at EXIT, Prydz has left an indelible mark on the festival’s audience—first with a solo set in 2007, followed by a legendary B2B with Adam Beyer in 2009, where he delivered his iconic Radiohead remix. His next solo appearance in 2013 cemented his status as one of the most sought-after artists on the electronic scene, while a decade later, his triumphant return to EXIT in 2023 brought together more than 20,000 fans in a truly electrifying moment.
This year, Prydz is one of the headliners of the milestone 25th edition of EXIT Festival, and one thing is certain – on Saturday, July 12, the Temple of Electronic Music will take the audience on an unforgettable journey through sound, light, and emotion, blurring the lines between music and visual spectacle.
