Ferocious riffs will resound this July through the Petrovaradin Fortress at EXIT Festival!

Joining the previously announced lineup, headlined at the Tesla Universe Main Stage by one of the most innovative guitarists of all time, the driving force behind Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, Tom Morello, and the unstoppable The Exploited, are the Cavalera brothers, founders of the iconic Sepultura. They will bring the essence of one of the greatest heavy metal bands in history, performing together at the fortress for the first time!

Making their debut as well are Altin Gün, an internationally recognized Dutch band that cherishes an authentic oriental rock sound, and the global sensation from Hungary, Azahriah, who last year became the youngest musician ever to sell out the Laszlo Pap Sports Arena in Budapest, and has three sold-out concerts at the Puskas Arena national stadium in front of more than 150,000 fans awaiting him! Also, straight off their first major European tour come the region’s most popular band, Joker Out!

The iconic Visa Fusion Stage, in addition to the previously announced Villagers of Ioannina City and Lakeside X, will feature powerful regional support, including Eyesburn, Ritam Nereda, and North Macedonia’s Funk Shui, while the fierce Explosive Stage will be headlined by American punk icons The Casualties, the previously announced legendary band Coroner, making their first performance in Serbia, along with Ratos de Porao, Uada, Conflict, and a diverse array of hardcore, metal, and punk bands!

The loud and distorted side of EXIT Festival just got a major boost — the riffs of Sepultura’s biggest anthems will be delivered by brothers Iggor and Max Cavalera, founders of one of the greatest heavy metal bands in history, whose album Rootslaid the foundations for nu-metal in the nineties! Max often calls Serbia his second home, and it’s a well-known fact that the album Prophecy,” which he recorded with his band Soulfly, was inspired by his experiences in Serbia. Having performed at EXIT twice, in 2004 and 2008, this year marks the first time he will be joined by his brother Iggor Cavalera, bringing the essence of Sepultura to the fortress! We’ve known for a while now that Tom Morello, Rage Against the Machine’s co-founder and primary songwriter, will make the fortress roar with the legendary riffs from Killing in the Name and that the unstoppable Scottish punkers, The Exploited, are also coming!

Tesla Universe Main Stage is set to welcome, for the first time, the internationally recognized oriental psychedelic rock band from the Netherlands, Altin Gün, brilliantly prefaced by their two appearances on KEXP sessions – in May 2023 and February this year. Fresh from their major European tour, the previously announced Slovenian band Joker Out, who kickstarted their career at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, are joining the festival, along with the Belgrade punk rock band Replicunts!

Joining Villagers of Ioannina City and Lakeside X on the beloved Visa Fusion Stage are top regional acts Eyesburn, Ritam Nereda, and North Macedonia’s Funk Shui. Meanwhile, alongside the previously announced Coroner making their first visit to Serbia and the all-female death metal band Nemesis, the festival’s fiercest stage, Explosive, will feature the unbeatable New York punks The Casualties!
