Gala is coming to EXIT with a message for Serbian students: “You’re going to make history because freedom and love are what we’re looking for!”

Italian singer Gala, known for the global ‘90s hit “Freed from Desire”, which has become a sort of anthem of the protests in Serbia, will be a special guest at the opening ceremony of this year’s 25th edition of the EXIT Festival.

This ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, July 10, on the Main Stage, will be dedicated to the students of Serbia.

On this occasion, Gala addressed all citizens of our country through a video message, sending an emotional statement full of support: “Dear Serbian students, dear Serbian people, this is Gala. I heard your call. I see you, I feel you. And that’s why I’m coming to Serbia. I’ll be at EXIT Festival in July, greeting the students from all over Serbia on the main stage. We’re going to have fun. You’re going to make history, because freedom and love are what we’re looking for. See you there!”
