The genre melting pot’s latest lineup boost features Partibrejkers, Bojana Vunturišević, Nikola Vranjković, Coby, Amna, and Hiljson Mandela, joined by Crni Cerak & Lacku, Z++, Kendi, and Oxajo.
EXIT Festival’s multi-genre crossroads will also welcome the winners of the Play @ EXIT and GrassrEUoots music contests, through which EXIT Festival and the EXIT Foundation support rising talents from the regional music scene on their path to global stages.
Joining legendary rock singer-songwriter Nikola Vranjković, known for deep riffs and lyrics steeped in darkness and emotion that resonate across generations, on opening night, Thursday, July 10, are trailblazers of the new trap wave, CRNI CERAK & Lacku, carrying their infamous Dark Side signature, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s leading pop vocalist, Amna. The first night’s genre-blending lineup will also include Sarajevo hip-hop group Helem Nejse, rising rock band Prljava Frekvencija, and Play @ EXIT contest winners, the Sarajevo-based band Kapitaklizma.
Friday, July 11, brings a fusion of urban expression and contemporary original sound. The night is headlined by the cult crossover group Sunshine, icons of 1990s and 2000s rap-rock fusion. Joining them are Bigru & Paja Kratak, a hip-hop duo known for delivering raw lyrics straight from the streets of Medak. Rap support also comes from Kendi, while that same evening includes performances by Belgrade-based pop-rock band Oxajo and the talented Luka Black, winner of the GrassrEUoots competition. Punk-metal band Deformitet will also take the iconic Visa Fusion stage as one of the Play @ EXIT contest winners.
The hard-hitting party on Saturday, July 12, will be headlined by none other than the architect of the local hip-hop scene, Coby, with his “All-Time Classics” set, featuring a catalog of hits from his rich discography. Joining him are Rouzi and TNG, artists who embody both the power and vulnerability of the new trap generation. That same night on the iconic Visa Fusion stage, the audience can look forward to unstoppable veterans of the rock ’n’ roll and punk scenes, Partibrejkers and Pekinška Patka. Adding flavor to the lineup are Naked, a funk-jazz band and GrassrEUoots contest winner, along with Novski, a Belgrade-based post-punk band that earned their spot on this legendary EXIT stage by winning the Play@EXIT competition.
The final night’s program – on Sunday, July 13, on the Visa Fusion stage – will be completed by one of the leading pop vocalists in the region, Bojana Vunturišević, alongside regional trap royalty Hiljson Mandela and Z++, whose hits boast tens of millions of streams and whose electrifying energy brings generations together. The alternative sound for the closing night will be amplified by another Visa Play @ EXIT winner, Belgrade-based band Lisilo.
With Džoni Midnajt Trio, led by Nikola Đuričko, Jet Black Diamonds, Gospođo, Bate!, and other emerging artists, the Visa Fusion stage will be an essential stop for every EXIT visitor during the grand finale of the most unique edition of the festival yet.
