This London artist with a multiethnic background, and one of today’s most in-demand hitmakers, is coming to the Get EXITed party on September 7 to turn the City Park into a stage where Strumica will dance until the early hours.

Though we now know him as a global star whose songs rack up billions of streams, Jax Jones’s road to success was neither quick nor easy. His journey is a story of patience and persistence – from open‑mic nights and small London studios to 2014, when he co‑wrote the global hit “I Got U“ with Duke Dumont, earning a GRAMMY nomination, followed by co‑production of the planetary hit “Ocean Drive. Then came “You Don’t Know Me“ with RAYE, “Instruction“ with Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don, the radio staple “Breathe“ with Ina Wroldsen, and the viral “Out Out“ with Joel Corry, Charli XCX, and Saweetie. He teamed up with MNEK to deliver the nostalgic dance single “Where Did You Go?,“ cementing his status as a creator who rules both dance floors and charts in equal measure. Since then, Jax Jones has become synonymous with a modern dance sound that fuses house and pop, dominating charts and festival stages alike, including two appearances at EXIT Festival, in 2018 and again in 2022, with a DJ set that the audience described as a masterpiece.

His track record includes the album Snacks (Supersize), the first to stitch a run of singles into a complete body of work, the Europa project with Martin Solveig and the hit “All Day and Night,“ as well as a standout collaboration with Olly Alexander on the single “Play.“ Jax Jones’s curiosity and tireless drive to explore sound have also led him to unusual projects, such as a musical tribute to the Pokémon franchise, for which he wrote the track “Phases.” And once the hits had cemented his name, Jax Jones chose to give something back to the scene.

He founded the label WUGD in 2021 with his manager, Dan Stacey. The name comes from the phrase “What You Gonna Do,” which is no longer just a sonic signature in his tracks, but now serves as a call and encouragement to new, talented musicians. For those still finding their way, Jax Jones now offers what he once needed most – support and a chance to be heard. He distilled his path, on which he now walks with confidence, into the intimate single „Me & My Guitar,“ a song that stages a conversation between the seasoned artist he is today and the London kid who was just taking his first steps toward musical dreams.

Now it’s time for Jax Jones to bring his musical story to the Get EXITed party in Strumica. On September 7, he’ll be joined on the festival stage in the Strumica City Park by regional sensation Baby Lasagna and the legendary Bajaga i Instruktori, with the rest of the lineup to be announced soon. Admission to this genre‑spanning music event will be free for all visitors.
