In less than a decade, they’ve made a real boom on the scene, reaching almost three billion views on streaming platforms. It can be said that these impressive numbers are a quantifiable representation of their quality.

Childhood friends Dorian and César did not immediately start playing music. They formed a band in high school, strongly influenced by Supertramp, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin, which is evident from their music. Their name is a homage to the famous German-French composer Offenbach.

They started DJing and producing in 2014, and the following year they released the tracks “Around the Fire“ and “You Don’t Know Me“, which became instant hits. The two tracks were supported by Robin Schulz and Tiësto, which helped bring their career to the global level.

Their ultimate hit is “Be Mine,“ a 2016 single that went gold and topped the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. Such a skyrocketing success is not a surprise, given the track’s uplifting and sensual nature – a proper summer hit. The bass line raises the tension, only to bring cathartic dancing on the dance floor or wherever you happen to be.

Another planetary hit by this duo that you must hear is “Katchi,“ featuring the American soul and R’n’B singer Nick Waterhouse. It is an ideal combination of dance music and rock.

While we’re on the subject of Ofenbach’s studio opus, which includes more than 13 singles and EPs, you must also hear last year’s “Wasted Love. “ From time to time, electronic music comes up with something you could call a ballad, and this is precisely that type of song, not only in terms of theme and lyrics but also melody. It’s not overly slow, but it has a mournful sentiment and beautiful melancholic vocals from the talented Lagique.

The events at which they’ve performed serve as another piece of evidence of their worldwide success and greatness: from EXIT, through Amsterdam Dance Event, to Coachella, in addition to numerous European, American, and Asian tours.

Ofenbach never stayed in one place; they kept evolving in their musical and visual style. These changes are primarily reflected in their experimentation with pop and rock elements while they keep introducing instruments such as drums and guitar into their tracks.
The Parisian duo’s seductive, energetic, hypnotising, and slightly mystical music invites you to indulge your senses on the dancefloor. Get your dancing shoes ready because we’ll be listening to this world-famous duo on July 10th on the Main Stage of the EXIT Festival.
